Each of the four rounds ends: (K2,P2) x 9 — this should be changed to (K2,P2) x 8.
With that said, if you do need a larger size then do increase by multiples of four (4) stitches and maintain the K2,P2 rib as directed.

The lovely not so little tuxedo, George, caught a mouse and put it next to Brian’s head as a present. George was feeling very proud of himself this morning.
