Just arrived:  the cash and carry for our trunk show which is OFFICIALLY this Monday 4/12 from 10am to 12noon.  ALL ARE INVITED!…However, because at best Monday is a tough day for all of us…the trunk show starts NOW and is on through next Tuesday.  This is a first time event sponsored by Jay Opperman, who will be sharing all the newest and best that Knitting Fever has to offer when he comes to see us April 12th.  We are featuring the best from Noro and Katia!  Noro has a new volume just in from Japan and cotton…YES, COTTON YARNS for summer knitting and crochet in weights ranging from finest lace weight to bulky for quick weekend projects.  To top all of this, there is a gift from me…an intriguing new crochet pattern as a gift from me with every purchase of yarn from this Noro Gala!  I tried the pattern out on Lisa Tizzoni yesterday… and she has not crocheted for 36 years.  Man, was I nervous…but she had the same reaction I did…it is SO MUCH FUN!

Jay chose three yarns to feature from Katia:  CANDY (a sweet self-striping 100% cotton), MISSISSIPPI TEX (a tonal 100% egyptian mako cotton in everyone’s most requested colors) and DEGRADE (a blend for those of you who prefer blended cotton in a girl and a boy colorway…the denim blue is a special favorite here at Summit Yarn!).  The newest Katia book is featured along with these yarns with the kind of projects most requested by knitters looking to knit and crochet for the little ones they love!

The yarns and books are all on display, just waiting for you.  Don’t be shy!  Our hours this week are as follows:                      Thursday  10:15 to Noon and 1-4pm

                                      Friday 10:15 to Noon, 1-5pm and 7-9pm

Saturday: closed for Son’s first competitive travel tennis event! (YAY! He made the team!)

                                     Sunday 1-4pm

And of course, regular business hours next week and our event on Monday 4/12 from 10am until 12noon!  Please feel free to call (570-586-6985 or email summityarnstudio@aol.com or comment right here to let me know your needs and thoughts!)  xox Mary Ellen   wishing you all the very best!!!!
