JoAnn -- a reversible and easy scarf to knit

Here is this week’s pattern and a heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to Robin Domenico for knitting the sample of this lovely textural scarf.  JoAnn Squier found this stitch pattern and pointed it out to me a few weeks ago…THANK YOU to you, JoAnn…this is a great find!  The stitch itself is a variation on the traditional Ringwood stitch, used in the Victorian Era for gloves and socks.  This stitch actually is similar to thermal fabrics due to its texture which traps body heat for extra warmth.  I actually love just the first two rows, even though this gives a right side/wrong side ribbed fabric…it is just very pleasing to my eye.  Try this stitch both ways and please, let me know what you think!
