November Sock Club Kits will be available tomorrow, Halloween — October 31st, thanks in large part to Jamie reading out loud to me 69 rounds of knitspeak.  In the past, I have asked my husband to help me with this task — but it becomes a cluster even though he is doing his best.  The pattern was all written and reknit to proof it — just needed typing.  I assembled all the kits today, and having put off the typing as long as I could, decided to get to it.  And, Jamie came to visit!  Yay!!!  I always enjoy our Sunday visits — but today, well, she is especially good at reading knitspeak.  We had a great time and lots of laughs AND the pattern is also typed…completed…donedonedone.

These socks, knit from Artyarns 100% merino superwash, are four years old and were knit when I first wrote this pattern in 2008.

here is a close up of the sock — no cable technique involved AND they are REVERSIBLE!!!

The heel and toe have been rewritten to Garter Stitch versions so the socks can be worn either way you like best.

This is the colorway of Jitterbug in the kits this month:

To a person, everyone who got to preview this sock said it reminded them of holiday lights and I agree wholeheartedly.  I hope you enjoy knitting the Prysm Night Lights Sock!

loads of love and light always,  Mary Ellen
