Returned now from my pilgrimage in Spain it is fun to recount the stories. Due to a late arrival and early departure the next morning, I spent the night in Madrid airport’s McDonalds. One thing I can tell you tight away is this is THE CLEANEST McDonalds on the planet. I know because I watched them from my booth like a homeless person. Around 3 in the morning I was feeling a little hungry but did not have enough Spanish to ask when breakfast started and attempts at asking for an Egg McMuffin failed. So I contemplated. One association I had left was that the Spanish word for eggs (huevos) sounds similar to the word for Thursday (Jueves). So I asked: (in Spanish) “What hour eggs?” and THAT they understood. Four a.m. Success is sweet and sometimes tastes like an egg.
The studio is open again seven days a week and classes are available as listed on the info page for this blog. This Friday we will be pouring Baileys and serving the worlds largest Toblerone bar. I welcome you and look forward always to making new friends.
