This is an old pattern I have been wanting to do but it has to be translated into modern day knit-speak. Since so many people loved the Arsenic and Old Lace KAL, this seems like a likely candidate. There is an inspiration for this but I will share it later so as not to give too much away.< As I translate it will appear in the blog and later be turned into a PDF for sale in my Ravelry store. So, here goes:

You will need less then 400 yards lace weight yarn (or a finer sock weight) and US1 needles
This can be done however you work in the round. I am beginning on dpns and then will switch to magic loop — but that technical part is really knitters choice.
You will probably also want some kind of fabric to line this with so the right side of the fabric shows through the knitting and a matching ribbon (1 yard).

Cast on eight stitches and knit one round.
Rnd 1: (yo, k1) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 2: knit
Rnd 3: (yo, k2) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 4: knit
Rnd 5: (yo, k3) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 6: knit
Rnd 7: (yo, k4) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 8: knit
Rnd 9: (yo, k5) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 10: knit
Rnd 11: (yo, k6) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 12: knit
Rnd 13: (yo, k7) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 14: knit
Rnd 15: (yo, k8) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 16: knit
Rnd 17: (yo, k9) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 18: knit
Rnd 19: (yo, k10) rep ( to ) around
Rnd 20: knit
