Here is a day to allow you to catch up if you have only just begun the Mystery KAL. The lace motif for part three, done correctly will look like a small box of eyelets contained within a bigger box of eyelets. This is definitely a lace stitch I would use again somewhere in my design work. I do have part four worked out — just not typed. It will appear tomorrow. After I knit it and worked out the errata from the old pattern I got to tinkering with it and came up with a variation on the original theme. Then I lost the beginning of the round, which is not fine if I want you all to know where you are when you knit this. ThursdayI will be at the studio swatching to refind that elusive beginning of the round that got lost in the decreases and the elegant movement of the lace pattern.

Here are some photos from the day. The pets loved having us home and the snow was beautiful.
