Yesterday I finished mending the six couch cushions our dog shredded as a puppy. It took a month or so, what with closing the studio and all. Of course, doing this work at home, the cats were a HUGE help. lol!

Began a new crochet shawl for the soon to be etsy store. Using Noro lace weight and I am loving the look! Today, plan on spinning as my reward for finishing the couch!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Have fun and stay safe!
Love and Light, Mary Ellen

Several shipments arrived today for our winter knitting pleasure…first and foremost and already tucked away is the yarn for the January Little Lovelies kit.  We have a new delivery of Opal Sock yarn with samples worked up in each colorway.    We have four colors of Louisa Harding’s Grace (50% Merino and 50% Silk) and also Fleuris (Bamboo and Merino).  Both are worsted weight and oh-so-soft.  Here are photos of Fleuris in its colors and a sweater knit up in it:

We received a full shipment of Silk Garden lite in beautiful colors and a bag of EVERY COLOR of regualar worsted weight Silk Garden.  So nice to have full shelves of Noro again.  Here are so photos to give you a few ideas:

I am having a great time with my new Sidekick Spinning Wheel.  I found some roving on the shelf, 50% Yak and 50% Merino in red and every morning I start with some of that roving.  Here is a photo of what I have done so far:
