I just finished the short row section of this delightful restive knit today. I have bits of two colors left which I am going to create short row color block se tiona with and then do the edging. I loved every part of this design and found it inspiring. The pattern is available on Ravelry and even the most novice of knitters can do this–this would be a great way to learn techniques of increasing and the basi short row without any purling involved.

My Lenten contemplation this year is the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimmage path through northwestern Spain which predates Christianity. It is said seekers used the Milky Way as their guide to “Land’s End” and the Ocean.
It later became a Christian journey with the scallop shell as its symbol.
